Confirmed from Mulkey Creek Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Mulkey Creek Trail
“Great trail well maintained and beautiful area.”
One of the best off-pavement hiking/running assets in the Corvallis area and probably THE best outside of McDonald-Dunn Forest. Also the only one without logging nearby.
Good choices here: paved path (straight ahead) for runners and cyclist, and off leash dog trail off to the right. Right option eventually leads to the off leash dog area of Bald Hill.
I like this specific access point because you can choose the paved path or dirt path right off the get go.
You just have go to the path, then enjoy. Greenland Trust and Parks Dept. care for this area which is beautiful. Parking at Bald Hill and a lot on Reservoir Rd. Paved and bark trails, wide open spaces and deep rich woods. Handicap parking available and restroom too. All free for your 😉 enjoyment
