Confirmed from Murase Plaza Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park with an amphitheater, playgrounds & picnic shelters, plus a seasonal water play area.
What runners say about Murase Plaza Park
“The playground was very fun, the bathrooms were clean, and the parking lot was close to the playground.”
“It’s perfect for kids of all ages and has tons of water areas for the kids to play in and benches all around for parents.”
Beautiful for a family retreat, play or a solo hike. Connects to memorial park through nicely Mai rained trails.
Convenient and plentiful parking. Play structures are new and unique with well maintained bathrooms. Plenty of seating for parents with good site lines of entire play structure. Easy to keep track of wandering kids. The super long slide and actual barn are standouts.
We’ve been coming here very often ever since we discovered this splash pad! It’s perfect for kids of all ages and has tons of water areas for the kids to play in and benches all around for parents. There aren’t too many shaded areas so plan on bringing a hat and sunshades. The area is really well kept and clean.
Love the water features for the kiddos here! The playground a short walk down the path is also new and well done. If you bring the littles for the water, I highly recommend an umbrella or sun shelter; there is little shade in the direct area and the sun can be unforgiving.
Trail conditions & character
“There is also a picnic shelter with bathrooms at the splash pad, as well as another right down the path.”
“Parking is pretty close with a 4min walk to the splash area on the other side of grass, past the regular park.”
“If you drive down to the bottom of the park there is another play structure, tennis courts, baseball field, dog park and a Frisbee golf course.”
“There splash pad has a long area where the water comes down the walls and onto this flat staircase of rock where the kids can play.”
“I asked someone and they told me the water fountains would turn on in the summer.”
“They have a play structure at the top with 5 slides on it and another play structure that's wheel chair accessible.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
