Confirmed from Murphy Central Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Community park featuring covered play equipment, a splash pad, pathways & an amphitheater.
What runners say about Murphy Central Park
It's better to come very early or later in the evening as parking spots fill up quickly! Awesome place to bring kids to the park, go for a walk, play in the fields, go fishing, to do celebrations or play at the splash pad!!!
It is a fantastic park featuring a splash pad, picnic area, walking trails, soccer field, playground, and numerous other activities. It is highly recommended for family and friends. They also have summer activities/events.
Nice park with access to the Maxwell Creek Greenway as well as a nice little dirt trail system along the creek. Great for kids and dogs! Lots of options.
I had fun at the Murphy Maize Days with friends. I’ve never had dole whip before and it was yummy. I didn’t expect the park to be so big! All the other parks I live around and have been to are quite small. So this one had a lot of fun things to look at. Made me feel whimsical. The grass is also really nice and soft.
