Confirmed from Waters Edge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood park with multiple soccer fields & a walking path located beside a small creek.
What runners say about Waters Edge Park
“Great park with paved and unpaved trails and a shaded playground and a smaller area to play field sports.”
A hidden gem of a playground. There's lots of shade and lots of fun things to do, plus a really cool rope bridge! There's no bathrooms. There is a soccer field and trails. There are a few picnic tables and many benches.
Great park with paved and unpaved trails and a shaded playground and a smaller area to play field sports. The off road trails are great for trail running and mountain biking see my picture for reference. My mileage on that was 4.8 miles
We love going to this park. It’s really nice because in Texas you need shade. And this park has lots of shade even in the super shiny days of summer. It’s also got some really cool walking trails down by the river that are fun to get lost in and have the kids explore.
This playground was a lot of fun. They gave picnic tables to eat at and walking trails. The surrounding area is also really fun. If you take a small hike by the stream, you will see a graveyard from the 1800s. We had a really fun day playing and exploring here!
