Confirmed from Natural Bridge State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Natural Bridge State Park

Pulled from public reviews — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 10 mentions

“This is a small State Park with few amenities but some nice hiking and of course the beautiful Natural Bridge.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“It's an easy hike to the natural bridge with beautiful trees and lots of shade.”

Such a cool spot with overlooked or under appreciated history! The hike to bridge maybe takes 10 minutes, slight uphill climb but super manageable for most people! The rock formation is super impressive.

★★★★★ — Quincy , Mar 2022

Just off of Rt 12, 15 minutes from Devils Lake State Park lies a natural gem. There is a parking lot off of County Route C. The trail is fairly marked. After following the path for 0.6 miles you will come upon the rock formation. Nestled in the forest lies the natural bridge with a cave underneath.

★★★★★ — Richard , Jul 2023

Absolutely love this spot. The scenery is stunning. Not much for hiking but definitely a great place to visit and take in some sights.

★★★★★ — Tahera , Sep 2025

This is a small State Park with few amenities but some nice hiking and of course the beautiful Natural Bridge. The parking lot is easy to spot from the road and has plenty of space for the amount of traffic this park gets. There are restrooms but the toilets are rustic.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
