Confirmed from New Castle Battery Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

A place where you can have morning jog followed by Sun light bath. You have benches to sit and relax after your jogging. It's not a beach though. It's the inland water from Atlantic. Park is very well maintained and when we visited this weekend there were shops put up with all kinds of handcrafts, art galleries.

This park is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. It's very clean and kid and pet friendly! They have bathrooms as well. You can't go onto the small like beaches there but you truly wouldn't want to anyway. There's a very new/updated park and a trail. You can rent bikes there as well.

I love it here . It's the perfect place to picnic and get your walk on. Plenty of places to ground and meditate if you are into that. I even saw people fishing. It's so serene and the squirrels are friendly . I also did some landscaping photos as you can see.

Awesome park! I had the best time here with my dog relaxing by the Delaware walking along the river, having ice cream, and learning about some history about slavery, underground railroad, and the ships that docked here.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
