Confirmed from North Chagrin Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about North Chagrin Nature Center
“Inside, you’ll find well-maintained exhibits and a few aquarium displays that really grab kids’ attention (adults will still enjoy them).”
“Beautiful area, great for hiking and activities, there is a pond with wildlife and so many native plants.”
“Whether you’re a local or just passing through the Cleveland area, it’s an easy, family-friendly stop.”
A gem of Lake County. There is so much to do and see. My wife and I are regular walkers of the four-mile walking path. A nature center with owls and bird watching areas to capture some great photos. The water features contain turtles, fish and many times a blue heron looking for lunch.
Such a serine place. Statues for the kids to play on, Trails, nature, what more can you ask for. Love this place ❤️
There are numerous trails that go to the nature center. There is an Avery with 4 different owls that are on display. They are injured and now have a home. Lots of paved and rock trails to explore. There is a preschool there to educate the little ones. Super nice park and ample things to see.
I love the Metroparks nature centers. They are like an oasis along our hiking adventures. North Chagrin is one of our favorite places to walk. The nature center is pretty. Kids would like it 👍🏻
