Great hike. I'd say 90 percent fire road up to the top. The first 10 is a nice little hiking trail. Little less than 4 miles and 1122 ft in elevation gain ish from where we parked.
Amazing trails. Looking forward to camping out here later on in the year as well. Absolutely beautiful out there. Some trails aren't as flat so bring your hiking shoes, water, and a small snack. Some trails have fallen trees but you can climb over them or try to walk around.
This is an easy trail my 7 year old had no difficulty whatsoever. I enjoyed it there were also a couple of patches that had snow so that, was a plus.
The trail guide wasn't available, so the markers meant nothing. The trail could use some stability in some spots. This trail was difficult for my daughter due to areas where the trail was blown out by people going off path. These areas could use a rebuild and maybe a rock border/retaining wall.
