What runners say about Old Kiln Trailhead
This not not an ancient native American kiva and has been incorrectly labeled so by other visitors in Google Maps. It is a lime kiln built by white settlers. Read the trailhead info!
The Kiva was oddly hard to find. Its about 1/5th of a mile on the trail, 50 yards to the right behind some trees. I say this as I didn't see this and walked a good mile before reaching an impasse. to then wander back and then see it.
Fun little trail, not very long but beautiful scenery. Fun place to take kids.
