Beautiful setting and scenes! Great walk/hike on variety of difficulty levels. Know before you go: Use the restroom by the playground if you have a dog which is not a SERVICE dog. Museum restroom is indoors and only allows service dogs. Water fountain at the overlook by the museum office and small store.
It's got the perfect balance of challenge and ease, and the trails are super well-maintained. The scenery is just stunning, and I love how you can mix and match routes - it's like exploring a whole new area each time! This park is a hidden gem, and the historical museum is a cool bonus.
Ancient indigenous people lived here between the rivers. There are many beautiful waterfalls and natural features. A museum and signage tells the history. Be careful on trails. They are rough.
Nice trails, numerous waterfalls to observe. Visited in early October, leaves hadn't changed yet but the weather was great for hiking.
