Confirmed from Oredson Todd Woods' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (192 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

“Lucky locals to have this trail system where you can spend hours on well maintained trails.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“A beautiful place to hike with well good trail maintenance and a stunning view of the valley.”

🏃 great for running 2 mentions

“A great place to hike, trail run and take your dogs.”

🐕 dog-walking favorite 4 mentions

“It's beautiful, dog friendly, and close to town.”

Feel guilty leaving four stars but... Very little parking, more of a neighborhood spot. The trail does link up with the rest of the networks to White Rabbit etc and over to Lithia if you want to make a larger hike/run.

Lots of intersecting trails with a few different places to hop on. Trails range in abilities from easy to hard. Beautiful tall trees and well maintained paths! Parking is a little slim in designated areas but there is a lot of street parking available.

I would maybe rate this trail as a 4, just because some of the signage was a bit confusing. However, this was one of the best hikes ever because there is a friendly trail dog named Heath who roams around. Today, he chose us as his hiking companions as he guided us through our travels.

This is a great series of trails to run/hike. These trails offer thick foliage and a mountain stream that combined, give a feeling of suddenly being surrounded by nature. This is a popular site, so mornings are better for running.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
