Confirmed from Paddock River Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Paddock River Preserve
“A very nice place to walk, has lots of river views and lots of beautiful nature!”
“Lovely little park undoubtedly kept quiet as to keep tucked away a one of the locals little secrets”
Hidden gem. Huge park with a few different trails. Connector to the Audubon, spotted woodpeckers, bluebirds, and chickadees. Paths and bridges in disrepair. Could use more trail markers, I got turned around.
Beautiful pines this winter. Great place for a walk, make sure your shoes can get wet and sometimes can handle deep water.
This is an old golf course that is very fun to walk I would recommend it to anyone The hard Trail makes it even easy for person in a wheelchair

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
