One of the more beautiful parks in northeast Ohio. Water doesn’t smell and the locals are friendly. The side walks are full of bird poop this time of year so watch out!
Beautiful park in Aurora, two different sides of the lake for parking. There is a distance to put the kayak in, but a couple of easy spots to get in and out. Watch the goose poop. The walking trail is paved, not very busy, which was nice. A couple of pavilions to have a party.
Very nice park... Path is well taken care of and is all paved. The lake is always in view when you are walking... Though... The name is true... It is very sunny and can be a little hot when the sun is is out because there isn't a lot shade... So go on a cloudy day if you get hot easily! 10/10 for us!
This beautiful park has a wide, easily accessible trail around the lake with a couple of playground and picnic areas along the way. There are many trees along the way, many labeled in case you wonder what they are. It's not uncommon to see kayaks and canoes paddling along the serene water.
