We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Palatine Prairie yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature preserve with disc golf and trails that are suitable for hiking with kids.

Palatine prairie on my favorite place is going sledding. it's so much fun going down the big hill and then came on break and going down a small hill. I also love out in the summer you can go biking around the whole entire prairie just so much fun.
Reimer Reservoir is a great location to walk The hills provide added challenges to novice walkers Bikes should be restricted based on the downhill speed that riders achieve while endangering others
Great area for a bike ride, walk, picnic or frisbee golf. Well maintained path for all bikes, skateboards or rollerblades. On clear days you can also get a great city view of Chicago!
