I rented a Yurt. It was fun and relaxing time. The river is not as close as you may think. Unless you going to hike to it or walk it’s about 1.5 to 2 miles away so great exercise. There is no playground for the kids. The beach area by river is beautiful and clean. The park rangers were amazing and extremely welcoming.
Perfect WA State Park with very friendly and helpful staff that went out of their way help with first come first serve check in. This well maintained Campground is next to the 5 freeway, they have shade and full sun campsites and 2 yurts.
Paradise point is a nice place to camp. Not to expensive either it is KOA so there is bathrooms and showers. Beautiful river to play in with rocks to jump off and trails all around to explore with friends and family
Right next to the freeway... Not a quiet and relaxing campground. Very nicely maintained. River access is nice... Great swimming hole..Sandy shore and slow moving river. Lower tent loop is MUCH quieter,
