We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Plattsburgh City Beach yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

The parking is big. We'll enough place for everyone. Not that expensive. You can buy a season pass. Clean sand. Not.many algua. You can walk a fair distance in the water with kids before it get deep. The water gets hot in the summer. Around 80. Good spot for familys

Love it here! So peaceful. This is the place to unwind and leave all your problems behind. Beautiful scenery. Nice calm clear water and bonus is it's shallow very far out so perfect for all ages without so much worry.

Very nice place, no shade on the beach but if you need some break from the sun you can go for a walk on that lovely little trail tht goes along. Though be aware the lake hassome heavy polution issues if you see blue/green algae on the beach, make sure to shower 2x when going home.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
