Confirmed from Pollock Bench Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“There is a lot of cross trails that are not easy to navigate through for the arches .”

Access to many trails. I wish more people would clean up after their pets. Rattlesnake Arches are incredible.

★★★★★ — Jon , Nov 2019

A wonderful trail you can run in about an hour or hike in a few hours. If you're feeling super adventurous you can also head down into Rattlesnake canyon to see some fantastic arches. This trail is fairly technically with a climb through an arch that may challenge some people.

★★★★★ — Wade , Apr 2019

Good hiking and not to tough unless your going to the arch in the next valley over then it will be a challenge. This hike is also the lower way to the Rattlesnake arches which is a long haul but the best hike around . There is a lot of cross trails that are not easy to navigate through for the arches .

★★★★☆ — Kevin , Jun 2022

Such an incredible hike. I was blown away by the topography on the western side of the loop.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 9 mentions

“It's far enough away from other trail heads that it often gets overlooked so these trails are usually not very crowded.”
