This is a moderate hike but definitely worth it. There are ropes along the trail to help you either climb down or up . For non experienced hikers it will be a bit tough but doable . The views at the top are amazing !
I have been doing this trail for many times and today I just discover that below the parking lot is water 💦 wow ! What a magic place down there. Trail is beautiful is peaceful and really really therapeutic when you go to the top of trail is a perfect place to look around the nature and show some respect for our heroes.
About a 50 mins drive from Queens New York. The hike is a moderate 30 minutes, it will have your calves burning and heart pumping if you are not as fit as me. The view from above is breathtaking. Definitely worth the climb. Hikers come back down the way they went up.
