Confirmed from Prairie Creek Greenway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Paved path winding through prairie areas and wooded neighborhoods, with creeks, lakes and bridges.

Pretty little asphalt hiking trail. Very quiet place for a walk. If you need parking type 13330 Sycamore Dr, Platte City, MO 64079 Into your gps. Following the driving directions Google has to this specific location leads to a culdasac with no parking or trail entrance. It's open dawn to dusk for parking.
It's okay. Just a paved path through the woods with some cleared land. The fun part is a lot of the perimeter of those open fields are mowed occasionally and you can safishly mountain bike through them without eating dirt.
Primarily four miles of trail. The section along Running Horse Road is essentially a side walk and popular with area residents. The section away from the road is paved and most enjoyable. While well used you often have it to yourself. Tree lined, partially shaded. Follows/crosses streams throughout. Well maintained.
Well maintained, paved pathway that winds through wooded areas, prairie grasslands, over creeks, around ponds and along the subdivisions off of Running Horse Rd and Hwy N in Platte City. Very popular among the residents for walking, jogging, dog walking, roller blading and bike riding.
