Easy hike trail if you’re an avid hiker. And there’s no fee for entering the state park! There are options for various trails to get some longer distance in your workout, multiple options such as 1mile loop or 5 miler when connecting trails.
This is a really nice park. We stayed 4 nights in the campground. The camp hosts were the best we've ever encountered. They were very helpful to us "rookie" travel trailer people. They took great delight in helping anyone needing assistance. I learned a lot from them. The trails are great and well maintained. The 2.
I really love this place - great trails and views of the Missouri River, close proximity to Weston, camping options, etc. I've been in all seasons and it always has something to offer. If you're into birding, there are a plethora of bird species to discover.
We only walked the Weston Bluff Trail along the river and railroad tracks, but the trail was very easy, low incline and the nature was beautiful! It was pretty low traffic, wide gravel trail, and very clean! Would be a great walk with our kids to just get out in nature.
