I had been hiking here before but never reviewed it. If you want to walk the biggest loop(2 miles,) follow the red trail in, pick up the blue, pick up the white, then rejoin with the red again. You can also do shorter loops with only the red or blue.
Great place for a walk in nature. Has an overlook which is sturdy and has multiple stairs. But each small set of stairs has a landing with bench so you can go on any level or to the top. Lots of flowers, birds and butterflies.
Lovely area to walk in. Very peaceful ( except we must have hit the gnat rush hour). Will definitely go back. We were wondering what the function of the flat box on a pole is (see photo).
A little bit of a walk, but the bird watch structure has a nice view and the lake is great. There’s also some good light trails on the hill.
