Confirmed from Richmond Hill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Richmond Hill Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (520 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“Trails are very well maintained and great drainage keep the nice and dry!”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“Lovely walking spot with a variety of paths and beautiful trees”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“There are features for all levels—beginning, intermediate and black diamond.”

This park offers excellent recreation opportunities. I come for running and hiking with the dog. The trails and map seemed a bit lacking to me at first, but over time I’ve grown to love the web of trails which make the park feel bigger than it is.

Best disc course in Asheville. I would travel to this course just to play it a time or two. You better make your lines or be ready for bad kicks off of trees. You will get a good hike in as well while playing.

Great little MTB park. Trails are very well maintained and great drainage keep the nice and dry!

Great disc golf course! Very technical, a lot of elevation changes, good forest coverage. Not the best drainage and could use some better signage to find the holes, as there are also hiking trails here. Only portapotties though, so that is something that could be changed to make this an even better course.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
