Confirmed from Roberts Regional Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
An 82-acre park in a stand of second-growth redwoods, popular for picnics & recreational sports.

This park is at the crest of the Oakland hills right near chabot science center. one of the best things about it is it feels like you're out in the middle of the woods even though you're in a suburban area. It feels tremendously comforting just to walk around here.
Took our 8th grades on a field trip and they had an amazing experience. We took them hiking, they played volleyball/kickball/football, ate lunch, and hung out with their friends. This park is beautiful and very well maintained.
Great place for quick hike very close to the city. The views are amazing and there plenty of trail options to chose for ranging from just walks to a few pretty decent inclined once. ( plenty of parking available as well )
Beautiful 3.8-mile loop trail near Oakland! It’s moderately challenging and took me about 2 hours 30 minutes to complete. The scenery is beautiful year-round, and it’s a popular spot for birding, hiking, and running.
