It a peaceful escape just minutes from the city! It offers stunning trails lined with towering redwoods, fresh air, and serene vibes. Perfect for hiking, picnicking, or simply unwinding in nature. Don’t miss the Stream Trail—it's a gem! 🌲🌲
We arrived on a Saturday around 10 AM, and there were already many people in the park. Since the park is quite large, it didn’t feel crowded. We chose the Stream Trail, which is a loop trail. It took us about two hours to complete the loop. Most of the trail is shaded, making it very comfortable on a summer day.
I rushed this visit a bit and didn’t plan as much as I should have, but Redwood Regional Park still impressed me. The forest trails are shaded and quiet, surrounded by tall trees and dense ferns, and the paths are generally well maintained. I packed too heavy, which didn’t help on some of the uphill sections.
We did the stream, mill and French trail loop at Reinhardt. Spectacular views - tall redwoods towering over for the most part with a thick blanket of fog hanging over providing perfect cover from the sun. The stream was full and following along most of its namesake trail.
