Serene place to visit on a sunny summer day. The entire trail loop is under 2 miles (mostly flat - easy). There are other (sunset and big trees trails) connecting to bay view trail. Great place for walking, running and biking. Plenty of shade with some bay views along the trail.
Nice hiking day.. endless tracks. Each track takes u to another. Rich nature. U can hike for hours, it can be challenging to follow one trail. The experience counts though!
On our last hike, we saw three different pregnant women—it is that easy of a hike on the main trail. It is popular for bikes. If you are hiking, it is best not to wear a headset because it makes it harder to hear the when the bicyclists come up from behind. You park on the stree—on Skyline.
Well marked, widely paved dirt trails. Beautiful forest shrouded in mist in the morning, keep the air light and cool. Great place to reflect and commune with nature.
