Confirmed from Rose Creek Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Rose Creek nature preserve is a perfect place to take your family if you find yourself in the middle of nowhere Washington. I personally found it great because there were lots of great pictures opportunities.

What a great little hidden gem! Great little loop trail, great views and lots of different kinds of plants to enjoy. We didn't see much wildlife but it has been bad weather the last few days so I am not surprised. The clearly new bridges are great as well.

★★★★☆ — Kelli , May 2022

The smell of flowers in bloom, the variety of birds to hear and see, the ease of the path, all worth the 15-20 minute drive down some dirt roads to experience. So much gratitude to the people who helped create this. The beautiful simplicity of it is refreshing to my soul.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
