Confirmed from Rotary Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular park featuring playgrounds, tennis courts and a basketball court.
What runners say about Rotary Park
“Beautiful mid-size park ,with modern restrooms, new playground equipment for the kiddos.”
“Great park with things to do for all ages.”
There are two playgrounds, a water feature, and a nice walking trail at this park. The old playground has woodchips, and while the equipment isn't as fancy (and needs repair in some places), over time, kids seem to prefer it because there's just more to do.
Great park. Multiple playgrounds, providing lots of fun, a pond, fountain, space for live music, shelters with picnic tables, nice walking trails, arboretum, sand volleyball.
Great park with things to do for all ages. There are two large playgrounds with play structures. A sand volleyball court, too. Two pavilions for family reunions, work parties, church groups, etc. A path goes all the way around the pond for a lunch or evening walk. Beware the goose poop, though!
Super cute and clear park. Nice walking path and two playgrounds. Lots of shade!! Facilities. With the pond there are geese so if geese or their poo bother you just stay away from the water. Good parking spots too. There was a summer camp there when we went but plenty of room still.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
