Confirmed from Roy Schoonover Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great pedestrian and biking trails. Lots of trees and cool cactus and some rest benches along the way. The parking lot isn't large. There are bathrooms and drinking fountains and some signage at the trailhead. I'll return soon.

★★★★☆ — Chris , Dec 2022

It is great, It's a nice clean bike and walking path. I juat got home from walking 5.5 miles. Its safe, you need a flash light incase something crosses the path. There is wild animals out there. It is safe.

★★★★★ — Humberto , May 2023

This is a great stop for traveling cyclists and runners or for a park and ride experience. There are restrooms, water fountains, and even some basic tools for repairing your bike. There is even a permanent pump for airing your tires should you need it.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
