We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Sabal Point Preserve yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Sabal Point Preserve

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (35 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Great spot for an off road bike adventure, fun terrain and awesome views of the woods, ends at the little Wekiwa river, Serene spot, perfect for meditation.”

I didn't walk the whole way but the 30 minutes I did walk was very pleasant. I didn't see any alligators or bears but the good thing is it was the middle of the day so there weren't any bugs. Take a whistle or air horn (much more effective than bear spray but I usually carry that too) and don't worry about bears.

Beautiful walking trail. Didn't make it until the end. You must bring walking shoes, water, snacks and repellent. There are 2 different maps in the entrance. One points the trail going to the river, which was a bit confusing. As a suggestion, some wayfinding or markers would help us in the trail.

EAT EAT EATTTT I love to hang upside down on the bench by the pond and pretend that the leaves are falling upward teehee I also like to walk barefoot here it is stunning and very peaceful! I also saw 3 huge buck on the trail and they were just chillin minding their business

Really great hiking spot but tons of mosquitos! Bring the bug spray and enjoy! Parking is at the end of a residential street but there are a few spots available.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
