Confirmed from Salem Creek Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Salem Creek Trailhead
“Very beautiful place to take a walk or ride a bicycle.”
Nice day trip. My dog and I took a nice walk on the Greenway and my sister went shopping at the mall.
Great trail! Roughly 5 miles one way from Market Place Mall to Salem Lake. The trail does have a low spot with moving water about 4 inches deep every time I have been. Other than that the trail is clean and paved the whole way.
6-13-22 This listing is for the trailhead and NOT the trail. Reading is fundamental. There is a separate Google Maps listing for Salem Creek Greenway (it is near the rotary/roundabout on Main Street for reference. The trailhead is in the Hamrick's parking lot. This means endless parking essentially.
Had a nice walk today. We parked over by dept store and it looked like it just got cut. One of the older shelters was just burned down what a sad sight. A lot of kids playing in the kid area. There was a creek stomp going on people with their dogs at the fog park. Really nice day would go back.
