Confirmed from Hanes Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring fields for soccer & baseball, tennis courts & play equipment for toddlers & big kids.

Close to the downtown in Winston-Salem and has many facilities to work out. I like the trails along with a creek and has additional tracks for running. Convenient location and well maintained.
Great park with a paved track to run around the tennis courts and baseball fields. Great location next to the Y with playgrounds for the kids in the heart of the West End of downtown Winston-Salem.
Beautiful space. Great playground for the kids. Nice area to walk for adults. Walking distance from restaurants/bars/ice cream for a very relaxing day :)
Nice, fun and beautiful place to take the kids. With multiple big slides, plenty of swings for big and little children, and activities to play on as well. It's a stream with a lovely walking path. A beautiful play to come and take pictures with the family.
Trail conditions & character
“They also has lots of swings, but the swings sit rather high up so are harder for children to climb up on.”

“Parking isn't great although it looks like a new parking lot is coming soon.”
“The park has construction occurring around the tennis courts so if you are using a handicap scooter, please check the accessible paths.”
“It’s always so nice coming here , kids playing , people walking their dogs , playing tennis , running on the track etc”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.

- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
