Confirmed from Sara Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Outdoor recreation spot featuring hiking trails, a dog park, and venues for sports, concerts, and fireworks displays.
What runners say about Sara Park
“I wont consider the trails to be scenic as not much variation in the landscape but it was a difference experience for us.”
“Trails are well marked and also several signs showing the trails and ratings.”
Sara’s Crack was a fun hike! It was about 75 degrees during the hike, and if it had been any hotter, we would have been in trouble. There is no shade and it is very desolate and a pretty good change in elevation. The slot canyon was beautiful and interesting and led to a cove of Lake Havasu and balance rock.
There are many trails which could accessed from the trailhead. The parking lot was of decent size. I wont consider the trails to be scenic as not much variation in the landscape but it was a difference experience for us. Going through the crack was a unique experience.
Had a great time hiking with the grandkids through The Crack in the Mountain. Nice easy trails, clearly posted markers. Great for those wanting to stay on a safe well traveled trail. Sights were breathtaking and will return to travel the other trails.
This place is great for hiking and site seeing. There are many trails for beginners and for you extreme hikers, there's plenty of hard trails to conquer. Havasu lake is down off the trail a ways but excessable. A 5 star must go.

“I wont consider the trails to be scenic as not much variation in the landscape but it was a difference experience for us.”
“The "crack" is a fun trail, but not for those who get nervous by semi tight areas or can't climb up/down boulders.”
“The main one has nice bathrooms and a covered area with bench and table.”
“Might want to do the Red Trail from the parking lot as it keeps you out of the sandy gravel for a large portion of the walk in.”
“Trails are well marked and also several signs showing the trails and ratings.”
“All kinds of riding available, expect dry loose and rocky but if you want black level you can find technical sections.”
“Might want to do the Red Trail from the parking lot as it keeps you out of the sandy gravel for a large portion of the walk in.”
“We hiked a 9 mile loop down the yellow trail, through "The Crack", down to the cove and then came back on the blue trail.”
“All kinds of riding available, expect dry loose and rocky but if you want black level you can find technical sections.”
