Confirmed from Settlers Bay Coastal Park - East Lot's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 5 mentions

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Quiet, easy trails that loops around.”

Pleasant, easy walking trails. Separate mountain bike trails. Overlook with view of Hay Flats and Knik Arm. Moose. Three pit toilets. Park development continues to add more trails. Watch where you step because many irresponsible dog owners don't pick up their poop. So sad. :(

★★★★☆ — Mr. , Jul 2026

We enjoy walking the trail and having lunch at the picnic benches. It's nice that they have a separate bike path as well. Very peaceful and short enough hike to take the toddlers along. Community park is close by so we always go there after. Great views of the hayflats. Clean restrooms and trails.

Quiet, easy trails that loops around. Lots of moose in the area, as long as you don't invade their space and leave them alone, they leave you alone. There's also a bike path and bathrooms.

Love walking here. They added 2 more bathrooms. Peaceful, beautiful, quiet. See moose.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
