We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Seymour Dog Park Seymour, CT yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Seymour Dog Park Seymour, CT
“This place is absolutely gorgeous.”
“My dogs loved it and had fun playing with the other dogs in the park.”
This place is absolutely gorgeous. From what is use to be , which wasn’t bad at all , it’s a huge improvement! It’s so open and gives the dogs plenty of room to run. And it also has smaller fenced in areas to either keep your pet separated from some of the bigger dogs. The pond itself is beautiful.
The dog park part is nice The pond needs to be dragged!!!! The walking trails are over groon, the old bridge needs to be rebuilt out of metal and not wood so the it can't be burned and there is no place for kids no slide no swings the town did a get job for dog lovers but for got about the kids
Everyone does not clean up after their dog, dog's. If they have the mindset to do so, they just don't pay attention to their pet's. Other than that it's a good place to let them run free and meet some good people. ✌️
Nice level land plenty of grass for dogs to run. Unfortunately there was only a small pool, but we managed to fit in.
Trail conditions & character
“Large dog side does tend to flood/mud up, but some pups prefer that.”
