It was such a wonderful place to take in the scenery. Just a short walk down to this amazing waterfall. The only downside is that there is highway noise and a view of the highway.
River walk with my love! He explored all around while i collected cool lookin' rocks.. I LOVE this place so much! It's so peaceful listening to the waterfall... 😊💙😊💙
I grew up in Seymour and it was a delight to visit and see the renewal and focus on a lovely natural landmark. We walked along the paved greenway, read the historic sign and checked out the fish ladder. I remember the condition of the river in the 1970s. BRAVO to Seymour for the restoration and public access.
There is ample ample free off-street parking. A short walk down to the waterfall that you can see in the pictures. It's rather pretty. There's a little bit of a historical note about a fish bypass that's only open during the warmer months. It is not all natural but mostly man-made but still rather scenic
