Confirmed from Shadywood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 5 mentions

“Hanging out in the park late at night is kind of sketch but it’s very peaceful of your just trying to have a good time with yiu”

Shadywood Park is a quiet park within a nice neighborhood. Right next to Eastwood Elementary School. It's super doggy friendly with many doggy bag stans, in case you forgot your own doggy bags. There are many trails for you to walk your dog on.

This park is a gem. We found it as one of the parks in the area. We love how there is a lot of shade in the evenings. We also love how there is a lot of space for our toddler to run around. I think it would be nice even without kids, and I think it would be nice to have a picnic there, though I have never done either.

Real cute park. There are a lot of large trees for shade and multiple benches & tables to sit/ eat a picnic at. There's even some BBQ stations for use. The playground is a good size and has a lot of different aspects to keep your kiddos occupied and having fun.

very cool park! Just here for a visit, but if i lived in the area it would be a perfect place to bring my pup for a nice walk, or the nieces to play on the park structures - my personal favorite was the stationary hammock, that is a first i have seen and definitely think more parks should have it 🫠

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
