Confirmed from Sherwood L. Stokes Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Natural preserve showcasing a variety of wildlife and birds that can be spotted on its walking trails.

This is a short trail. It's mostly shaded and beautiful. The trail dead ends at a lake with an open meadow. There is a covered picnic table. It was a really lovely walk, and sitting by the lake was so peaceful. We had a beautiful afternoon alone, secluded in nature.
Really nice peaceful walk. Saw a deer. There's a nice place to take a picnic at the end of the train. Train ends at the water. Beautiful scenery.
Sherwood L. Stokes preserve trail is well maintained with a lot of shade. From start point back to the SP it’s about 1.3 miles. Down at the turn around point it opens up and there’s a small gazebo with a small board walk. I’m not sure if there’s any fishing done here.
Nice shaded trail that leads to the water. There's a covered picnic table and some creepy old buildings. I'd like to know what used to be here.
