Confirmed from Smithfield Town Commons Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Smithfield Town Commons Park
Nice place for a walk as long as you go in the right direction. One side seems barren of wildlife, etc but the other direction has lots of life and much better views of the river, etc. This would be a good trail to bike on too. There are tables where you can have a picnic.
Beautiful Park. Very neat and clean. Respectful people. We got lost on trail in the rain on a date so it was a beautiful memory 😆. I can't wait to go back and just go with my family and enjoy the day.
My doggo and I love walking through the park. It's a great little nature escape. The path is wide and paved. There are benches spaced out along the path.
There's a nice nature trail for those of us who enjoy walking or hiking. There are tons of photo opportunities with all the natural scenery. Dogs on leashes are welcome. Just a pleasant place to enjoy some time with nature yet stay close to town.

- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
