Confirmed from Smith's Woods' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature haven, with playgrounds, picnic areas, a butterfly garden and hiking paths.
What runners say about Smith's Woods
“Clean and well maintained park Great playground area and swings for toddlers and big kids!”
“Super pet friendly and just a beautiful place to just go and bring a lunch with friends or a work break.”
“Excellent, well-maintained trails that are clearly marked and leashed dog friendly.”
A wonderful park for a walk. The trail is flat and easy to walk across making it great for walking a dog. There was one hill that could be difficult for strollers or individuals that have trouble walking. Overall I would recommend going here for a quick walk through the woods.
Clean well kept park that is nestled in the woods. Several swings, wood chipped ground, and a bit difficult with a stroller. One accessible chair, but no updated equipment for different capabilities. Swings, slides, small tot play space, climbing wall, balance beam, cool rock statue.
Go there pretty much when I need to clear my head. It's a great walk with a beautiful lake and amazing arches of trees. My friend & I (whos in the picture) love enjoying each other company along with nature.
It’s a very wooded area with a large playground, picnic area, pavilion and restrooms, and hiking trails. Parking lot is very spacious.
