Confirmed from Snyder Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Spacious park offering a playground, dog park, sports fields and a water feature, plus trails.

“It's the highest point in my neighborhood and offers some truly beautiful sunset views.”
Really nice park with tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer fields, baseball fields, kids area , dog parks, walking trails, and lots of trees with squirrels. Just a good park for the family or to jog or picnic. Highly recommend.
Snyder Park is a great local park located pretty close to downtown Sherwood. It sits on a hill so the views are spectacular. It has multiple sports fields and courts including a baseball field with a phenomenal artificial-turf infield. And fantastic tennis courts sitting atop a reservoir.
Love this park. The whole family enjoys going. There are two dog parks, 1 for small and 1 for large. Fun playground, pickleball court, soccer and baseball field. Nice paved paths for walking and wheel chair accessable. Absolutly stunning views for watching the sunset!
Snyder Park has become one of my favorite spots in Sherwood. It's the highest point in my neighborhood and offers some truly beautiful sunset views. I've enjoyed coming here to capture the evening sky and look forward to spending even more time walking the park.

“Turf soccer field, pickleball, splash pad, play ground, picnic, walks and they have restrooms.”
Plan your run at Snyder Park
The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
