We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of South Sioux City Bengston Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about South Sioux City Bengston Trail
Great biking and walking trails that run along the Missouri River and the Siouxland Freedom Park. The park holds a half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall. Dedicated in 2014, the 250 foot wall is constructed with black granite mined from the same quarries as the one in DC. Very much worth a visit.
The Bengston Trail is the best. You can walk, bike, or run by the river. You can see many thi ga along the way. Siouxland Freedom Park is a great stop over. Half scale replica if the Vietnam Wall and a Freedom Rock como g soon.
