Confirmed from Southwood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed public park featuring a playground, a pool and a splashy water slide, plus volleyball nets and a pond.
What runners say about Southwood Park
“A nice, clean park with a playground for kids and a couple of picnic tables”
New equipment and clean play area that's really fun and safe for the kids. With a pool that's a short walk away.
Great place to spend the day. The pool is a very good size. There is a kiddie pool and a snack bar. There is a water slide just a short walk up from the pool. Always good fishing at the pond that is located between the pool and water slide. It is stocked every year for the fishing derby.
Beautiful area, shelters for parties/reunions/cookouts .. Walking trail with benches, playgrounds & tennis court
