Confirmed from Spanish Moss Trail - Depot Road Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Well-maintained former rail route for hikers and cyclists with water views.

“From the namesake Spanish moss draped oaks to the scenic views, there was always something beautiful to admire.”
We loved walking the Spanish Moss Trail during our trip. This area was very well maintained with plenty of restrooms and water fountains (for people and pets!). Wish we had remembered to bring the bikes that were included with our Airbnb but the long walk was nice too!
This was the first time riding this trail. We started at the train depot and rode South approximately 5 miles to the end. Then we rode back to where we started and then continued North on the trail. We felt this portion of the trail was not as enjoyable as you have to cross several very busy streets.
Love this bike trail! Alot of history to be gleaned, an easy flat ride, and just beautiful!!
Love the trail...been going for years now. Not too happy about the bikes that whiz by n some of the areas where the walkway is level with the ditches with water, but I guess I could jus get my jog on in those areas.
