Confirmed from Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Celebrated riverfront park providing landscaped green space, a playground & stage for performances.
What runners say about Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park
“A very beautiful park with outside dining access to many of the downtown restaurants, walking distance to Old Point and public parking lot.”
This is such a beautiful part of South Carolina. This park has plenty of room for the kids to run around and play, a playground that my kids both love, plenty of restaurants, Ice-cream and some great sunset views. The swings add such a charm to this quaint riverwalk.
This park offers many amenities for the young, old and in between. The kiddos gate to the slides and swings squeaks VERY ANNOYINGLY loud on purpose!!! I promise you when you hear it you're gonna think why won't they get some WD 40 for this gate.
This park is such a great asset to downtown Beaufort. So many local events are held here with the Forest Gump bridge in the backdrop. There are many swings surrounding the river and it is a really great location to watch the sunset over the marina.
The waterfront has always been a lovely and peaceful space to walk, for children, get ice cream and a bite to eat. Even with the pending construction changes, it's still enjoyable, but will be even better after. I look forward to it being restored.
