We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Spokane River Centennial State Park Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Spokane River Centennial State Park Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (24 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

The section running through Spokane Valley has wonderful views of the river, tall trees and nearby mountains. It is flat and easy. The entire trail is 37 miles long, starts northeast of Spokane in Nine Mile Falls and extends to the Idaho border.

Beautiful trail to take a walk on. Amazing view of the water and other scenery. My only complaint is there are not enough entry/exit points on the trail, at least in the area where I live which is why I am making this 4 stars instead of 5.

★★★★☆ — John , Apr 2022

Nice place for a walk or to ride your bike. Creek is a little low but still nice.

★★★★★ — Lynn , Oct 2020

Many great spots for an radio amateur to activate this POTA site, as it runs for many miles along the river. In several places is also a three parks activation as it is also in the Ice Age Flood Zone trail park area, and the Riverside Park area.
