Just love this park that has a variety of trails from flat to hilly. Restrooms available most of the year. Be sure to see the waterfall! The pond is full of turtles and we saw so many dragonflies. Good place for a stroll or run.
This place is such a delight! Tons of nature trails weave throughout the park. I've seen eagles, marmot, raccoons, squirrels, turkeys, magpies and more! You have your choice of dirt trails or paved and all have access to restrooms, picnic facilities and free parking.
I love this park it's beautiful and peaceful. I can find new trails to explore at every visit. I absolutely love the history here the most. It was the location of the walk in the wild zoo, and the remains of habitats still remain today. Well maintained grounds, playground and bathrooms too.
What a lovely park to visit. Paved trails, manicured grounds, a gorgeous waterfall with ample viewing spots. Bring a picnic and enjoy. Dogs allowed on a leash. Dirt trails down to the water as well where I saw a couple fishing as well as a professional photographer shooting her clients.
