Confirmed from Springbrook Gardens Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Love the minimalistic vibe of this park. It is the perfect park to walk, jog, rollerblade or ride your bike if you are looking for a simple, easily accessible, park. It also has a very nice playground for the kids.

I admit I’ve avoided this park in the city because I had biased views…I was wrong. It’s a great park! All paved and accessible patches, including the fishing boardwalk. Multiple shelters, large playground, and gorgeous wildflowers everywhere. Very peaceful walking around there too.

★★★★☆ — Mell , Jul 2024

Coming together. Playground is done and is great for elementary age kids. Nice paved walking paths and bridge over pond.

★★★★☆ — Kimberly , Sep 2022

Fishing is pretty good, great for taking the kids. It's catch and release only here. Nice to see the playground and big pavilion as well. Could use some more structures and some shade. Lots of good photography opportunities of wildlife too.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

Plan your run at Springbrook Gardens Park

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
