Confirmed from Veterans Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Verdant park known for its fishing piers, trail loops & the largest inland pond in the country.

Beautiful park for walking by yourself or with your dog. Perfect place for a fall photoshoot as well. Good for walking or bike rides. Great playground for kids and covered picnic tables with fire place.
This park has a large pond with multiple small fishing piers. When I was there hiking I saw lots of people fishing off the piers. There are several walking trails which are nice and easy to walk since they are not hilly.
Veteran Park is a lovely spot in the Mentor area, perfect for a relaxing visit. There’s plenty of parking available, and the park has lots of benches where you can sit and enjoy the scenery. Veterans is probably the best park around mentor. Very pretty especially in the fall. Pretty over fished so good luck catching anything other than a tiny blue gill. The walking path and nice me and the dog love it.
