We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Spruce Pine Hollow Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded park featuring picnic tables, trails for hiking and a creek.
What runners say about Spruce Pine Hollow Park
“It doesn't look like much when you pull up, but the stream is beautiful and the trails are nice.”
Good signs a lot of opportunities to camp, water is at the beginning of the trail which is what I was looking for today. Seems to be a lot of options for hikes/trails.
This place is an awesome little gem. It doesn't look like much when you pull up, but the stream is beautiful and the trails are nice.
I love the place! It's 5 minutes from my house. I can bring my dogs and pretty much let them run. Unless there's others there then I'll leash the dogs up. It's got beautiful hiking trails. A cute little creek with a foot bridge to cross. You can walk a short hike up to the shelter. Or a long hike miles long.
There are a couple of covered picnic tables in the clearing, along with very clean portap potties. There were also some grill facilities. There had been a hand water pump but it was not functional.
