Confirmed from Stoner Creek Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Stoner Creek Trail
Love, love, love Stoner Creek trail. So much more then a simple walking path. The YMCA supports Soccer here. Ample Soccer goals laid out across the main field area. Plenty of parking both right off the main road and further up on the gravel. Benches and bleachers around the field.
A good place for a quick, brisk walk in these winter temperatures. Loved the tealish hue of the water when we went today. The creek was the perfect place for listening to the ice and snow melt away.
Trail conditions & character
“The walking etc path is paved for two thirds of it.”
“Plenty of parking both right off the main road and further up on the gravel.”
“Be advised if after sundown there is not any lights around the field and creek area aside from a few perimeter lights from the waste water treatment plant.”
“Mainly flat with a 40° incline/decline on one side or 60° on the other.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
